Lighthouse youth ministry seeks to engage, inspire and support young people in and around Lostwithiel, Fowey, Par and St Blazey. We aim to improve the quality of life for young people physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually in Cornwall by supporting them in their journey of discovery. This includes the opportunity to explore the claims of Jesus and what he means to Christians. You do not have to be a Christian or a member of the church to get involved. All events are optional and you can pick and choose which ones you attend.
We offer several opportunities for young people to get involved. Our main social events are a monthly time to enjoy a variety of fun activities. On the last Saturday of the month, you can kick a football, go swimming, eat food and build dens. Visit our social events page for more information. In order to attend any event you will need to register your child/children and yourself as parent or carer. Young people need to be year 7 and over to attend.
We are also passionate about helping young people discover a relationship with the Lord Jesus and encouraging them to introduce Him to their friends. For this reason we also offer a opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith. We will be running a Christianity Explored event. More information will be published soon. See our Bible Study page for more information.
